Dylan joined the Rebus Legal team in February 2019, completing his Practical Legal Training work experience. He has since quickly found his feet, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in an array of practice areas including civil, family, criminal, and migration law.

Dylan graduated from the University of Murdoch with a Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction) in 2018. Prior to this, he graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Dylan has a keen interest in employment law. Having previously done work experience with a nationwide union in 2018, Dylan was exposed to an array of employment law matters. It was here where Dylan’s interest developed, as he gained practical experience and witnessed first-hand how the law can help employees in circumstances where inequalities are present; be it in relation to the bargaining power when contracting with employers, or simply to achieve a fairer outcome.

Outside of employment law, Dylan is also passionate about civil, Criminal and family law. He has been able to gain valuable knowledge and experience in both these areas whilst working with the Rebus Legal team.

Dylan is passionate about problem-solving and has a keen eye for detail. He always tries to solve a problem using a number of methods and considers all alternatives. One of the main reasons Dylan was drawn to pursue a career in law is that it provides him with an opportunity to help people, whilst also working on challenging matters.
